World Best Friends Week
This award was given to me by Chanel, a wonderful person that provides comfort to me during my trying times. thank you.
"Do you know the relationship between your 2 eyes? They blink together, move together, cry together, see things together and sleep together. Even though they never see each other, friendship should be just like that! Life is like Hell without FRIENDS. Its ‘World Best Friend Week’.
a couple of weeks ago, a friend that i have lost contact for quite a while sent me a similar message as above. i replied to him bluntly, "hey, since you still treat me as a good friend, i guess it's only right to tell you that i'm diagnosed with lung cancer 6 months ago. have my left lung cut off and just completed 4 months of chemo. i'm bald now but still alive and kicking". of course, i shocked the hell out of him. so, i'm passing this message back to him and wife to be.

Hmm.. tht was a little blunt to a long lost friend.. :-X
I'll be shocked if I'd get this kind of news from a friend I'd not contacted for a while.
