hidden choc chips
this morning lil Matt woke up early and said to us
daddy asked him
lil Matt replied
that is so sweet....
little boys may not be made of sugar and spice but if you take a bite at just the right angle, you may be able to taste the hidden choc chips that is so sweet and rich for the senses...
"can we go to yeh-yeh (grandpa)'s house"?
daddy asked him
"you miss yeh-yeh?"
lil Matt replied
"yea, miss yeh-yeh"
that is so sweet....

It's those chocolate chips that make parenting so worthwhile.

So sweet. Boys at this age love their daddy and grandpa. My son is like that too. But they silently love us a lot. I love it when he comes to me when he is sleepy... to sleep in my arms (pushing away little bro first!)

dear tracy,
we usually bring Matt over to my in-laws place every week but the grandpa was sick last weekend and asked us not to come so as not to spread the germs to the kiddies.
this morning, when i told Matt today is friday, he chipped in immediately "go to yeh-yeh house?"- can tell he really misses his yeh yeh- chicken soup for the soup.
