little things MATTER

The other day, Matt was happily singing a Barney song,

"I love you, you love me
we're a happy family
with a great big hug and a kiss from me to you
won't you say you love me too"

THANK YOU for reminding mummy. Yes indeed- We're one happy family and I will do ALL THAT I CAN or even BEYOND MY EXPECTATION for this happy family.

i have to remind myself that it's the little things in LIFE that matter the most.

Yes.. as parents, that's what we aim for.

Btw, where is that place you went with the pony ride? Zara is crazy over ponnies and horses and we always go around looking for places where she can ride one.

dear zmm,

M took the pony ride in the interactive zoo at Sunway Lagoon. i think it's expensive and not worth it- RM5 for 2 small rounds- 5 minutes.

frankly, i had a bad experience with the zoo. Brad was bitten by the pony in the feeding zone (not the one M rode). the pony has mistaken his little finger as carrot (as it smell like one since he was feeding carrots to rabbits earlier). the caretaker forcefully pulled Brad's finger out of the Pony gritting teeth. luckily no broken bones but a deep wound. we left almost immediately to see a doc despite paying around RM150k to get into the themepark.

48 hours later, my hubby and Brad had diarrhoea and vomitting, these 2 touched and fed the animals and they contracted bacteria in their stomach - gastroenthritis. it lasted for a week.

a week after, i contracted it (and my babysitter too). it contagious thru' vomit and faeces. i couldn't get out of bed for 2 days- feverish and shivering cold too besides vomitting and diarhoea. I realise the sympthoms get worst when it pass on.

a very bad experience that put me off petting zoo....for long a while. however, they are many people that actually been there and enjoy it. so, just be careful.
