So easy to PROVOKE and yet, so easy to PLEASE
over the weekend, daddy took Matt out for his usual round of dvds hunt. i decided to stay at home with Brad.
the minute daddy walked out the door... Brad kicked up a BIG fuss...and gave mummy a wide-awake, daytime nightmare...just because daddy didn't take him along...
so, i took him down to our condo foyer to let off stream.... and almost instantly, he has forgotton and forgiven.
one minute he was all teary,whiny and so full of drama...and the next minute, he was all cheery, jolly and so full of beans...
kids....so easy to provoke...and yet so easy to please...
this morning, a friend sent me a list of jokes on "why we love our children" and this happens to be my favorite....

An exasperated mother, whose son was always getting into mischief, finally asked him, "How do you expect to get into heaven?". The boy thought it over and said "Well, I'll run in & out and in & out and keep slamming the door until St. Peter says, "For Heaven's sakes, Dylan, come in or stay out!"

They forgive and forget so easily, but with each year, it becomes harder..
Btw, Condo living is really good, esp for kids, there's so much to distract them with. Hubby prefers landed property, but I told him if we are going to move again, I would prefer a condo.

I guess kids are like that, a "sayang" from mommy or daddy will do the job to quench their attention needs.
Are you a photographer? I am so impressed with your work. Arrgh..too bad I neither have the skill nor a good camera. Keep up the good job! :)

my hubby likes condo living..no mosquito to worry about...security is better...but i guess there is always pros & cons in anything.

it's actually a kids inspired hobby...i can't even hold a camera properly previously...but the power of children makes everything possible.
if you are thinking of changing camera and don't mind a slightly bigger size, try canon powershot-pretty good reviews on it.
Yeap, they easily forget. That makes me very guilty, especially when they forgot that I was just strict with them minutes ago... They just turn back and give u a heart melting smile.
But just like lian said, it would get tougher each year!
Kids are kids, they forget unpleasant things very fast! :) How nice if our world is as simple as them...:)

Kids of this age can be easily pacified. For Destinee, just give her something to eat or tell her, 'want kai kai or not', she'll stop immediately.
