mOsaic JanO8

be warned. this post is not for the faint of heart. a lot of scars. a lot of skin too. for those under 18, please get parental or guardian approval before you proceed.

ok. ok. over exaggerated a little. at least nothing indecently exposed and the scars are not really that horrifying. given quite a number of you are curious about it and during the time before i had my surgeries (both pneumonectomy and chemo port), i searched the internet in vain for a post-surgical scar image. so, this may serve some good for others.

all photos taken Jan 08:

1. pretty cherry blossoms to spice up the festive mood...
2. Matt kindy update. no complaint so far. still prefer to speak in english and not much in mandarin. and goodness me, we have no idea how to help.
3. my chemo port and scar. given all the weight loss after chemo, the port is really obvious now. bulgingly obvious. protruding out of my skin. if you look closer, you can even see the cluster of leftover needle marks. they have to prick my skin with a needle to get to my chemo port and yes, it's painful. they still need to prick it every 2 months for blood test and to flush the port.
4. Brad caught the flu virus last 2 weeks. okay now.
5. attended a dear friend wedding. J&K, just in case you wonder where are all the balloons gone .... my kids have taken some home :) great wedding and really good to see you again.
6. another mirror self portrait.
7. good to be outdoor. some fresh air. and wondering around. must make an effort to do more.
8. the blue doggie, 'my so called girlie stuff' is Brad's sleep buddy now.

9. my major surgical scar. about 7" run paralled to one of the rib bone. it's quite neat actually.... ok. don't stare too long now.
10. whenever i asked Matt, "why? you really think so?" he will replied, " yes, because i think with my brain."
11. Brad nursery update. no complaint. i think he truly enjoys school.
12. my hair. it's sticking up. real funny looking. reminds me of fido dido. need to get some styling product to hold it down.
13. good to get physical. sweat a little. work on the muscles. another must make an effort to do more.
14. this little scar... less than an inch, where they inserted a chest tube to drain fluid and blood right after surgery. about 6" down from the major surgical scar... at my left torso... next to the elbow at pic 9. tiny but worst of the lot. right until now, i still can feel the numbness along the tube site.
15. where is my baby? oh gosh, he has grown up so much. right before my eyes.
16. gong xi gong xi ...

note: you can create your own photos mosaic easily using mosaic maker.

These are some really awesome photos! I think I'd vote that one of Brad deep in his Spiderman the best! But, wait, let me choose again.. perhaps that one of your porcupine hair? No, no, I think #9 is sexiest! That scar will turn so many people on/off, depending on their fantasies!! All very pretty pretty! This collage is so good..I can't choose the best, so I'll say they are all winners..
