i'm back
back from Beijing.
attended a very gratifying much-to-talk-about qigong workshop ;)
however, this by far the most worrisome flight i have ever had. not so much of h1n1. in terms of that, i'm more worried i couldn't pass the health check than the spreading virus itself :P
i fell very ill weeks before the trip. the coughing got worse and i think my lungs were (was) inflamed. i'm breathless all the time. i'm breathless to just walk 10 steps ahead.. i'm breathless even just standing up for more than 5 minutes.
believe me, i get motion sickness from walking. i threw up so much till i lost my appetite. the lack of food kinda compounded the situation and made me weaker by the day. my weights dropped below 40kg in days. i need to lie down most if not all the time, just too weak to get up actually. horrfying!
fortunately, i bounced back 2 days before the trip. not entirely okay but i guess it's good enough for me to move on. thanks for all who prayed and thought about me during this time *hugs and kisses*
flying to beijing was okay. it's a night flight. many were sleeping throughout and hence, oxygen requirement was low.
but coming back was a nightmare. the oxygen level was so low and scarce due to all the activities going on. baby crying.. people talking.. walking to the lavatory etc etc.
i have a hard time competing for oxygen??!! x_x
in fact, i have to constantly put my body in 'sleep mode' for that 6 hours. even when i'm not sleeping, i'm meditating to control my breathing. in....out...in...out. no kidding. i'm serious!
any movement, even small movements like drinking water or talking will send my heart pumping for oxygen circulation.. you can see my chest heaving obviously. i starved myself because i'm too afraid to eat. gasping for air is not a pleasant feeling. for that one or two time i went to the lavatory, i turned pale and blueist if i couldn't calm my heart down within minutes. geez! it feels like i'm going into an asthma or heart attack anytime. thank God all those meditation during the workshop helps. back in one piece :)
(i can use some lipstick in the photo. so pale)
so, how's the workshop? isit worth the risk?
well, if someone sponsor me a trip to Paris staying in a 7 stars hotel right now, i will not hesitate to say, "no thanks, i would rather stay at home". i mean it.
for this Beijing trip, no regret. i will do it all over again.
does it cure me? ( I got that alot. haha)... no, not as yet.
it's not a treatment to heal me immediately. qigong is a powerful act to strengthen the body and it's something i want to learn for better health. it's a mean to heal :)

can drink complan or something suitable? all those vitamin balanced food powder.
and portable oxygen? i think there is such thing. can use at home also when needed. the doctor should know. if not, email me. i find out.
use sunglass when walking. helps motion sickness. but not so dark till you cannot see clearly.
polarized sunglass. they cut glare tremendously. but that's another thing altogether. it's more like reducing visual, causing nausea.
i needed sunshades at one stage, even at night. but if driving, then polarized/night shades is safer. ya, i get motion sickness all the time. tablets can only help that much. we help ourselves ya.
ah, drink glucose water. glucolin. mix a little with water when you have no strength for food intake.
now i am a serial comment poster, eek.
