my bedtime story
Matt: "mummy, can i read you a bedtime story?"
mom: "sure baby."
matt propped himself up against a pillow on bed next to me.. holding the book 'The Cat in the Hat' by Dr. Seuss. i rested my head on his tiny shoulder and my eyes followed his finger pointing as he read word by word.. sentence by sentence.. turning page after page. right till the end.
a quiet moment shared with my boy. a memory to cherish.
7 years is just not enough...
