a LOVE letter

my dear Brad,

in a month time, you will turn 2.
you are at the age when everyone expect you to be either terrible or tender.

for me, you are both- so demanding and yet so dear

there are so many things about you at this stage that i want to hold on to as long as i can... to remember how you had given me so much joy of being a mom.

i love how you find mummy lap your cozy corner, allowing me to wrap my arms around you while you lean on me comfortably watching tally.

you are quite a polite little man that will say "please" when you want something...and resort to crying when "please" doesn't work...and crying escalate to screaming if you still didn't get what you want....and you know that is one SURE-work formula.

i want to remember my personal little angel upon waking up in the morning, will just sit quietly at one corner of your cot watching mummy..waiting patiently for mummy to wake up...while mummy pretend sleeping to hold that instance a bit longer.

i know how much you adore me in reciprocal to the extent of monopolising me and even mark your territory that even daddy and your big bro are not allow within vicinity.

it makes me laugh everytime you point your little index finger at mummy and say "YOU-ah" when you are angry...and guess who you get that from?

when you have your fancy on something- a toy or a dvd, it's often beyond heaven and earth to change your mind...just so you know, your big bro has been very considerate of you wanting to win all the time.
so, please be good to him when you eventually pass this phase.

i just love, love, love your natural baby fragrant that i will snuggle up and sniff on you whenever you are within grab.

i look forward everyday to that quiet moment right before bedtime where we lie side by side singing "twinkle twinkle little star" or you chuckle aloud when mummy babybite you all over.

you love your oversize flip flop and it's hilarious to see you flip flopping around the house comically.

you are a happy boy and your happiness is so contagious that i catch it whenever i'm with you.

i have only known you for 1 year, 11 months and 1 day but you have made me love you in so many ways.

love,
mummy

Dear albie,
thank you. indeed I feel blessed!

Dear mom2ashley,
people tend to forget as time pass and the purpose is to jot my feeling down when it's still fresh-not only for that lil fella to read in the future, for me to remember too.

dear anonymous,
thanks.

dear sambal-belacan,
thanks for your compliment. not only the smile, his little michievous act is quite funny to look at too :)

dear jazzmint,
the hiau poh pose is one of my fav. a little over exposed but too cute that i have to keep it.

dear 1+2 mom,
if you read properly, you will see a lot of spelling and grammar errors. i'm not that good with words and my english is just average but blogging somehow, give me the avenue to practice expressing myself.

dear blurblur,
journal is a just way for us and the kids to remember. A well loved child will know it in their heart :)

knongfamily,
thanks for visiting my blog.

dear kat,
love the way you put it- yes, wouldn't change a single thing!!

dear zmm,
Brad used to poke his finger into my nose to wake me up but children change all the time.

i didn't realise he was doing that until daddy pointed it out to me one day and since then, i always pretend sleep and peep at him staring at me...that is really sweet!
