say something please....
i have a feeling if i continue to keep quiet... someone somewhere will think something must have gone wrong with me. another bad chi perhaps. no, please, no. not anymore!
lately i'm kinda fried by the heat and drown in guilt for eating.. munching and nibbling all the forbidden foods. till i can hear my body screaming "DETOX. DETOX" to me. it's so easy to go off track when you are feeling good. simply forgot that i'm still hanging at watch list. blame it on the heat. blame it on the mouse. blame it on chinese new year. too bad, i am to blame. not that i feel sick.. no, just feel overwhelming with guilt. oh well, went astray a little but back in line now. so, stop harassing me. i'm good now.
a tad bit late but hey, it's not over until the 15th day right?
so, Happy Mousy Chinese New Year. Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Matt: "mom, i want a pet."
Me: "why? your friends at school have pets?"
Matt: "no. not all of them have pet. some have pet but some don't have. i want my own pet."
Me: "ok, what pet do you want?"
Matt: "i want a mouse."
Me: "what? a mouse? can we have fish instead?"

Yes, fish is a good choice. I have a fish tank in my children's bedroom.
lately my girls' new addition is a turtle!
fish is definitely easier to handle compared to turtle :).

HI Lisa, actually a mouse is not such a lousy pet. Once Matt gets bored with it, this self sufficient pet needs no further attention. Once out of its cage, you probably won't see it around till you leave food around the house....
btw, I notice your hair has grown back so lovely. I really think short hair suits you better!

Just got some house-friendly pets (I know, I know.. I've been meaning to blog about them!! Aargh.. so many things happening that I want to record down but... sigh..) and my son is having a whale of a time playing with them. I just hope he doesn't give them a heart-attack when he whizzes them through the air pretending they are superheroes... :P

Nowadays, I seldom talk about fatt tai choy. I just find it more meaningful to wish people good health and may they get their heart's desires. :)
yah.. fish is good, my house had a big sea fish tank too ... is nice to see those sea fish, so colorful and so peaceful by listen to the water ... but hor .... abit trouble and mah fan to had sea fish ... not easy. we been try and error until so many fish "die" .... but at last, we manage to "handle" .
But i still think sea fish was the best to had in the house, get a small tank ... 2' x 3' ??? heheheh

Fish sounds good if you're willing to take the trouble to clean the tank and all on a regular basis :P otherwise start with a maintenance free fish - get those fighter fish :)

We keep fish at home too..but i dare not handle them, yesh, i am afraid of fish!! But i think it's a good way for the father and sons to bond, i always catch them sitting infront of the fish tank, making small talks.. :)

Did you tell Matt about the responsibility of keeping a cat? Zara wants more pet too (we already have a cat), and when I told her about the responsibility, she says, Auntie (maid) clean the poo poo, I pat the pet. :-|
goldfish hard to maintain, ie. they shit alot. got filter helps of cos, but it gets clogged up fast too. unless you control feeding. but because some of them will get to the food faster, i'd feel guilty and try to feed the slower ones. of cos, the faster guys will get them still. so, ya. you know what i mean, lol.

Well, the fishes will become your pet eventually. haha..because now my boys' fishes become hubby's pets as none of them bother to look at the fishes, just feed them whenever they feel like. The rest of the stuff are done by hubby.
Scott was asking for a dog, i told him that he will get it when he turns 12 years old. Because he has asthma la..cannot have pet dog. He is counting the days everyday!

pets .. my kids have been asking me to buy a dog!! go them fishes instead. easier .. heheh. i love the shots of matt ... so cute and cheeky
