JUST because...
JUST because... this boy is learning mandarin using the Zhong Hua Zi Jing (China) approach to mandarin literacy and we like to tease him.
whenever we said, "Matt, speak mandarin please".
he will automatically start his recitation:
"fu mu die niang. mo chi nan wang. xiong di jie mei. wei kun zhu bang. gu yi shu jiu. qin qi hu fang. zhi nan qui shao. bu yu zhuo zhuang and so forth"
he memorized it well, pronounced it well but i doubt he understand it. it's tough stuff! and it crack us up whenever he practices his mandarin recital.
PLEASE PLEASE let him continue to have this eagerness to learn.
JUST because... this little fella is my sous chef now...
i do feel like a cow. a sheep. even a giraffe sometime.
PLEASE PLEASE let me remains a steadfastly vegan and not mind feeling like a cow, sheep or giraffe.

he takes a liking to the kitchen recently. helping out and messing up just the same. always standing on a stool reaching out to wash the veges.. to meddle with the juicer..or simply watch me. although its fun having him around but you also need the patience of a saint to just let him wash the veges ever so slowly with total refusal for any assistance.
PLEASE PLEASE let me CONTINUE to have this super patience with him who double my time spent in the kitchen and let me be saint enough to encourage him to do so instead.
JUST because... they are so into each other....
they play. they talk. they run around. they write. they draw. they laugh. they do a lot of things together. they are so into each other that i can now sneak out for my yoga for an hour or two without them even noticing that i'm not at home (according to my hub).
PLEASE PLEASE let them continue to grow and love each other.
JUST because... i'm (suppose to be) a vegetarian and eat 60% (better if it's 80%) of my food raw... and a lot of greens...

JUST because... i had chemo and it has altered my hair cells from naturally curly to very straight now....

It's was good Matt learned up Mandarin.. Those Zhong Hua Zi Jing (China) is not easy to understand !! It's was hard for me too .. hahaha...
I like seeing ur 2 boys get along and get close so well .. That's very sweet and loving . Cos my boy not easy to get long with others kids, his inpatient and get mad easily .. end up he fight with other kids :( ...
oh.. u do have a natural curly hair ??? me too ...but mine was "very curly" type :) heh .. ur hair grow much longer liau ... nice!

actually his kindy teaches mandarin using the china method. they said it's effective-wor. because both me and hub don't understand mandarin, we feel so helpless at time- can't contribute at all.

how i wish but no, i colored my hair. altho' they said you shouldn't do this and that when you have cancer but i guess i did take a little risk here and there... i focus more on diet and exercise.
a little hair color always bring out my skin tone and i guess it's worth a little risk to look more cheerier... like what Chanel said.
yeah, Matt's kindy is using the China method to teach mandarin but i'm not so sure how it works.... he recite it well but i don't think he understand it yet .... might need to pay the teacher a visit just to find out ...
