Mdm Irene
this morning i woke up thinking about mdm I. although we hardly contact each other but i think of her every now and then. i never fail to ask about her condition from the nurses whenever i go for my blood test. found out, vice versa.
i have the urge to call her this morning. so, i did. she sounds her usual self. cheerful. upbeat.
she has been struggling with cancer since 2003. on and off chemo. she battles all with a smile. sadly, they have given up on her recently. they said there is nothing much they can do now.
currently her daughter is back from Brisbane to visit her. so, we made arrangement to meet up next week instead. i'm looking forward.
two people given only months to live. probably you can't tell when you hear our laughter and see our smiles :) God Bless Her.
