Deja-Vu
i thought knowing what to expect with surgery can make me less anxious and stress since i had one major surgical experience just not long ago but somehow, i still felt the pre-op jittery yesterday before they insert a chemo port in me. a feeling of deja-vu...the operating theatre..the vein poking..them putting me to sleep....nausea!
ouch..ouch..ouchie...feel the pain and soreness when i move my rigth hand. so, i'm gonna make this short.
yep, of course- i survived yet another surgery (lol)...funny that i still can laugh...
anyway, the surgery was much simpler..shorter and i'm back home at the end of day. the chemo port is about the size of a twenty cent coin with a tube that connects directly to a vein. it was inserted rigth beneath the surface of the skin very near my right armpit...that's why i feel pain when i lift or move my right arm. according to the doc, the soreness will go away in 2 days. it's not really visible but you can feel it if you gently touch it.
so, adios for today...will write again once the soreness go away.
